Website Content Management
With over 15 years of experience editing with content management systems, driving content strategies, and managing large-scale website redesigns and UX projects, there is no website I can’t tackle.

In 2019/2020 I project managed a full website redesign and content migration for Lyric Opera. During this time I met with our developers, branding firm, and an internal team to define our goals, assess needs, brainstorm ideas, develop wireframes, plan designs, and test new functionality, all while managing expectations against budget.
Once the backend was ready, I oversaw a small team of web editors to organize and migrate 3,000 pages from Sitecore CMS to Episerver CMS. Taking on the bulk of the pages myself, I audited, edited, rewrote, laid out, and SEO optimized content while proofing and making recommendations for others in order to create a consistent experience across the website that adhered to the design guidelines.
In May 2019 phase one of the project launched, setting the groundwork for further branding work that launched in November 2020.
Global Tagging & Content Automation
Lyric Opera produced a lot of digital content: blog posts, audio files, photography, and videos. Dispersing related content throughout the website was a tedious process making it impossible to keep up with and not getting all the great content in front of our patrons. I ideated, defined, and helped structure a content tagging and automation project that disperses video, image, and article assets throughout the website for a more engaging customer experience. What was once a half-day ordeal was reduced to less than a minute of work, keeping the website content fresh and leaving room for myself and other web editors to concentrate our time on more meaningful work.

Navigation & Sitemap Refresh
The Dallas Opera’s Website had a simple drop down navigation with no little structure and a messy sitemap. I worked with our web developers to re-imagine the navigation into a more thorough mega menu design, did a thorough content inventory, and created a new sitemap, while updating and optimizing pages across the website.
